Southern Shore Tourism Photos | NJ Southern Shore

Your journey begins here...

Our photographer has taken photographs of you for Tourism uses… Now what?

What are the photos used for?
We shoot primarily in Cape May, Cumberland, and Atlantic County, NJ. The photos are used to market our region to potential visitors. They are never used for other purposes, other than regional and tourism marketing. We shoot a huge number of photographs every year (around 15,000-20,000 photos), and only a small portion of these photographs are actually used.

What if I don’t want my photos used?
PLEASE JUST TELL US, AND WE WILL PROMPTLY DELETE ALL PHOTOGRAPHS TAKEN!
Even if you change your mind 3 years down the line, just let us know. Even if you do not want your pictures used, we will still gladly share the photos with you. You can send an email here to let us know.

Will I get paid?
No. We do not hire models, and we do not set up shoots ahead of time. We shoot real people, in real places, enjoying everything our region has to offer. However, we do gladly offer the photographs that we capture to you in compensation for your time and cooperation. If you lose the photos down the line, just lets us know and we will resend them to you.

How do we find the photographs of us that you took?
Because we shoot so many photographs we need your help us locate the photos of you. We ask that you provide as much information as you can so we can hunt down the correct ones. Details like: date, time, place, activity, clothing, ages, and number of people in your party – are hugely important. Don’t worry if you can’t remember all the details, just provide us with as much as you can recall.

How long does it take for me to get copies of the photos?
This may take several weeks. We do not always get the images right away, and we also need to download, sort and archive them. We try and be as quick as possible, but we ask for your patience. If we are shooting a large number of photos, we are likely also fielding a large number of image requests. However, if we seem to have forgotten you, please let us know. Lastly, once you have received the pictures let us know as well.

How and where are the photos used?
The photos are used to market our region to potential visitors. Below is a partial list of how and where they may be used. The common thread in all these sources, is that they all are vehicles designed to market our region as a great place to visit and a great place to live.
